EMORABLE SOUTH VIETNAM –MEKONG DELTA EXPLORATION

Day 1: ARRIVAL HCMC

• Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat airport, meet our guide and transfer to hotel for check-in. Time at leisure. Overnight in HCMC.

Day 2: HCMC – HALF DAY CITY TOUR (B)

• 8:00 Meet our guide and take a half day city tour in HCMC, the biggest city of Vietnam of modern hustle and bustle with visits the Reunification Palace, the Hundred Years Red Cathedral (Notre Dame Cathedral), The Old Post Office and The People’s Committee Hall which were all built during the French colonial period, Ben Thanh Market.
• Afternoon, free time on your own for shoping and relaxation.
• Overnight in HCMC.

Day 3: HCMC (B/D)

• Free time on your own.
• Overnight in HCMC.

Day 4: HCMC – CAI BE – MY THUAN – SA DEC (B-Lunch, Dinner)

 

• 7:30 meet the driver at your hotel and Take a shuttle bus to Cai Be.
• 12h00 pm boarding sharing the Le Cochinchine/Mekong emotion  boat. Enjoy welcome drink. Continue our cruise toward Sa Dec via My Thuan, a nice and quiet  town overlooking Mekong river.
• Visit the lively Sa Dec food market and primary school headed by Magueritte Duras, Huynh Thuy Le Old House, Kien An Cung, Cao Dai Temple.
• Walks along the village path and get yourself acquaintance with rural activities  as farmers farm their fields & orchards.
• Back to our boat for a cruise down stream. Relax on boat while sipping an aperitif.
• Dinner and overnight on board in Sa Dec.

Day 5: SA DEC – VINH LONG – TRA ON (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

• Breakfast on board.
• Cruise back to Cai Be. In the morning, the noise of the floating market wake you up, visit the daily life of the local people who live on both sides of the Mekong river.
• Embark small motor boat to explore the lively Cai Be floating market in the morning. Walking for visit a handicraft village of the local people and sample various tropical fruits, and walking around this area to see local people who are doing daily activities.
• Return to the boat.
• Lunch served on board.
• Continue cruising to Tra On via Cho Lach, Mang Thit.
• Up to river tide, disembark and make a pleasant walking or biking on the footpaths of the countryside to discover tropical fruit orchards and the local people’s activities, especially somes orchards with its famer in Quoi An – Mang Thit – Vinh Long.
• Boarding back, complimentary drink as a welcome back on board. Open bar and rest on the deck enjoying the sunset. The crew will serve dinner while the Le Cochinchine is cruising to Tra On.
• Dinner and night on board in Tra On.

Day 6: TRA ON – CAN THO – RACH GIA – PHU QUOC (Breakfast)

• The noise of the floating market wake you up early in the morning. After breakfast, the cruise to continue to Can Tho. Enjoy the magnificent sunrise on the river. Leisurely cruise up the BASSAC river while enyoying the beautiful scenery.
• Arrive Can Tho, a small boat will take you explore the Cai Rang market one of the most bustling floating markets in Mekong Delta with hundreds of small boats barging and jostling for space as owners attempt to sell their goods. And through the palm-shaded creek to see local houses and green orchards.
• 9: 00am: disembark at An Binh market  then transfer to Rach Gia, take the Super Dong boat express boat to Phu Quoc 13:15 14:35
• Upon arrival, meet our driver (no guide) and transfer for hotel check in.
• Overnight in Phu Quoc.

Day 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12: PHU QUOC (Breakfast)

• Free time on your own.
• Overnight in Phu Quoc.

Day 13 – 3 JAN: PHU QUOC – HCMC – SIEMREAP (Breakfast)

 

• Meet our driver (no guide) and transfer to airport take the flight to HCMC.
• Upon arrival, walk a distance to International terminal and flight back home.
